Description:
The Poison Tail jighead is a premium jighead made with a Mustad Ultra Point black nickel extra wide gap hook, fiber weedguard, oven-cured powder paint, and holographic eyes. This versatile jighead can be swam, jigged, crawled on the bottom or flipped into cover. The jighead has a broad enough bottom that it will stay upright when fishing it on the bottom, yet has enough of a taper in the front to work well through grass or cover. This jighead design has a skirt collar ring plus a keeper barb for retaining plastic trailers. The Poison Tail Jighead is also available with a flipping strength Mustad 32886BLN round bend hook for those that prefer the round bend over the extra wide gap hooks.
Use: Bass fishing in or around cover: a skirt can be added to make a bass jig; a plastic bait like a hula grub, spider grub, crawdad bait or stickbait can be fished on the jighead.
