Minnow Spin
Description:
Two lures that routinely catch bass are spinnerbaits and flukes; the Minnow Spin features the best of both lures together in a look that bass don’t often see. The bent down portion of the head serves as both an attachment point for the spinner blade and a stabilizing rudder to keep the torque of the rotating spinner blade from turning this jig on its side. The lure features Crane swivels, spinner blades, oven-cured powder paint, and fluorescent eyes. The Minnow Spins are available as jigheads only or with fluke bodies, and feature strong and sharp VMC Barbarian black hooks or Mustad Black Nickel Ultra Point hooks. The unique head shape provides darting, diving bait fish action, while the spinner provides flash attraction to trigger a strike. Fish this lure in a manner similar to the standard jig- cast to bass holding cover, or dive it deep and retrieve fast with a stop-and-go method to take advantage of this bait's finesse properties. Jigheads are also available with Gamakastu G114 hooks, Owner 5318 hooks, or Mustad 32831BLN long shank hooks for added cost.
Use: Bass fishing in open water or around cover.
