About Me
General Information
My name is Steve Day and I am the owner of Elken Enterprises of Idaho. I am an Idaho native and live in the country overlooking the Snake River and Owyhee Mountains. My address shows me in Wilder, Idaho, but I am located out in the midst of three small towns: Marsing, Homedale and Wilder. I enjoy the outdoors and go hiking or fishing whenever possible. Elken Enterprises (Elken Lures is the Fishing Products Division) is a small home-based business. I make the fishing lures (and do websites and newsletters) in my "spare time". I do my best to get orders done and shipped on a timely basis, but I do get buried by orders occasionally. The phone number below is to my cell phone and I usually can be contacted through it.
Elken Lures
Elken Lures is the Fishing Products Division of my business; it features fishing products such as jigs, jigheads, lures, sinkers, spinners and hooks. More products are being developed and will be released in the future. Converting this website from a PDF catalog to product webpages is a big step forward. The next step is upgrading this website so that customers can order directly from it, but I don't anticipate it being done before winter 2010.
Elken Design
The other half of Elken Enterprises is Elken Design; this is where I market my skills in website design, website maintenance, desktop publishing and other computer related work. At this time the portfolio is hosted on the Elken Lures website, but I have plans of adding a seperate website for Elken Design in the future.
Elk Season
I am usually out elk hunting between August 29 through the first week of September, so I may be out of e-mail or cell phone contact during that time.
