Description:
Product is a high quality weedless football jighead made with a 60° Mustad Ultra Point black nickel hook, 1/8” fiber weedguard, oven-cured powder paint and a custom skirt. The custom skirt is attached to the jighead with coated wire instead of rubber skirt collars that can rot and break. The jigheads are football shaped, but carry more of their weight on the shank of the jig and less in the jighead itself than the standard football jighead. This makes it easier to set the hook on a bass that is holding the jig firmly in its mouth and harder for a jumping bass to throw it. This jighead design has a skirt collar ring plus a keeper barb for retaining plastic trailers. The football head design allows the jig to sit or be dragged on the bottom without tipping over and getting the hook snagged, yet with the weedguard and strong Mustad hook it can also be fished in cover There are five hook options for these jigs: regular 60° Mustad 32729BLN hooks or Mustad 32796BLN Flipping hooks; or the flat eye 60° regular wire Mustad 32798BLN Flat-eye hook or the heavy wire Mustad 32786BLN Flat-eye Flipping hook and the Matzuo Heavy Sickle Hook.
Use: Bass fishing: can be fished around cover with or without a trailer.
