Description:
This is a premium Arkie jighead made with a premium Mustad Ultra Point black nickel hook and oven-cured powder paint. This jighead design has a skirt collar ring plus a keeper barb for retaining plastic trailers. The wide, yet tapered head design allows the jig to sit or be dragged on the bottom without tipping over and getting the hook snagged, yet with the weedguard and strong hook it can also be fished in cover. There are two wide gap hook options for these jigs: the 45° regular wire Mustad 38109BLN Flat-eye hook or the heavy wire Mustad 38108BLN Flat-eye Flipping hook.
Use: Bass fishing: a skirt can be added to make a bass jig; a plastic bait like a hula grub, spider grub, crawdad bait or stickbait can be fished on the jighead.
